he probably just has diarrhea (sp?) try giving him some apple juice, let him have lots of water and diluted juice to keep his sugar and energy levels up and so he doesn't get too dehydrated.. if he keeps it up for more than 24hours(under1yr old) or 48-72hours(over1yr old) then take him in to the doctor..watch his bum as he may get a very sore bum from constant pooing and wiping and it hurts!! try using cornflour or other nappy rash powder/cream on it if it gets like that :)

The only serious thing to worry about is dehydration. If the child is still alert, still able to sip water regularly (even if they bring it up often) & has moist eyes & mouth & acting otherwise normally she has nothing to worry about. If her child becomes lethargic, dry in the mouth & doesn't drink or pass urine for more than 6-8 hours then the child needs to see a doctor. Iceblocks are a good alternative if a child is not drinking enough. Tell your girlfriend to hold off on the food.

She needs to take this child to the Dr. This can be a very serious problem and the child is not getting the nourishment that they need if it comes out that fast. Go to the Dr right away.

Dehydration in young children is very serious. There's no way he's absorbing enough fluids and nutrition if everything is going through him so fast.
She needs to take him to a doctor ASAP.

Go to the doctor!!!
Even if it's not serious, it's best to be safe than sorry.

is she sure it is what she just fed him or a couple days ago's meals?

If it is what she just fed him, he is probably dehydrated and needs medical attention. ASAP

Good Luck,
