The fact is God foreknew that man would fall and provided the tree of life the story shows mans need for God because man is unrighteous and did partake of the tree that does represent God's righteousness the law which man could not live up to and he did fall from god's grace and God did provide the tree of life which is God's mercy through the atonement he provided through the sacrifice Jesus Christ our lord.

Adam and Eve is an allegorical tale designed to educate on a fundamental level. If you more than 12 years old, you should be past this type of thing. No wonder so many people are fleeced. You're not thinking!!!!!

If god knows what's going to happen before it happens then he knew that he was making A & E weak enough to fall into temptation and that they would in fact do that. So logically he did want them to eat from the tree.

Do we rob banks just because they are there?
Its all a matter of obedience.
Does not matter if its there or not. Adam and Eve should have obeyed.
But don't forget. they were wrongfully influenced by Satan [ the serpent]
Remove the influence and people will comply.

So that man would eat of it, become as sinful as sinful can possibly get, so that He could redeem us from sin, and let His grace be known. That's the whole purpose of creation in the first place.
