I love the colour red but in a room i think it would be to much blue would be easier on the eye and would be more rest full

you have chosen colours at opposite end of the spectrum - blue is cool and cold, red is so rich and warm. So it really depends what you are decorating. all the red tones - red, burgundy, deep orange - look fabulous in dining and lounge areas. Blue is a tricky colour to work with. I would go for red.

well it all depends on what shade of blue or red you are going for and what you want the colour for.

i like both red and blue but it depends on what you want the colour for? to give a fair comment.

If its a room where it get a lot of sun then I would go with the blue ,if not red but it has to be a nice shade not overpowering ,and sometime's one feature wall is enough in red .

Red is powerful and bold and sexy and dangerous. Blue is a tricky color... when you have the wrong shade it can look depressing and make you feel down as well. But blue has its good qualitties also... its a safe color. Light blues remind me of the ocean, the sky, babies. I'd go with red :o)

Red, definatley... Yes blue can be peaceful, and tranquill, but red has passion and warmth... Some may say that red reminds them of blood, but according to mr bean, blue blood is for the royals...LOL
