you are a child... anyone over the legal age for sex is too old for you... he could be arrested for being a child molester... wait until you are the legal age for sex, then no one is off limits, unless they are dead!!! :D

I would agree with the opinions that have been already been stated about him being about ready to graduate. I dated a senior when I was a sophomore too. We broke up before he graduated, but then over the summer, he started calling again. Turned out he wanted to get me around so he could try to get me to have sex with him because he didn't want to go off to college as a virgin. I am NOT saying EVERY guy is like this...please don't think I am. But knowing that he's about ready to start another chapter in his life could lead to a very big heartbreak for you if he leaves your town to attend college. I would say it's best to remain friends now, and see what happens when he's in college. If he wants to continue to pursue a relationship, at least he's had the chance to see what else is out there, and gives you the chance to do the same. You can go to homecoming dances, proms, etc., and not have to worry about whether he can come home to go with you.

P.S. I would say next year at this time, if he's asking you if he can be your prom date, then you can seriously consider stepping up your relationship. Until then, cherish the friendship you have at this point in time, and keep having fun.

Hi!!!

NO!!! He is not too old for you, or you too young for him!!!

In the friendship department , there is no limit to to age!!!

I think you should keep him as a friend, and let nature take it's course, what I mean by this is that if you feel comfortable being together, and most of the time hanging out , well isn't that a relationship on it's own????

And in any case you should let him be the one who ask you first, just to be in the save side as to be sure of what this friendship should become.

Wouldn't you rather have him as a friend close to you, instead of a boyfriend that could possibly be no more, and then you loose him??

Wait and let him be the one who ask you out, you will feel a lot more comfortable, trust me!!!

GOD BLESS YOU & HAPPY LIFE

A.Z.

I was 15 when i met my first boyfriend. He was 18. We didnt have sex until i was 16 (legal age in Australia).
We were married when i was 21 and him 24.
We were married 15 years when we separated and divorced but had been together about 20 years. As i see it that could have happened if i had met him in my 20's.
Im now with a man six years younger - age is not important
Good luck and hope it works out for you

It's not unusual for 10th graders to date seniors, however, he's 18 and it would be a good idea to wait until you are of legal age 16 to start anything.

You have to think critical though, do you like him or could you love him? Do you trust him, especially because he might be leaving for college soon, since this is his last year in high school.

If people talk, block it out, unless it seriously needs to be dealt with, they are nobody to judge.

I think he's a tad too old for you, not necessarily in the number sense, but maturity sense. He's about to graduate and move on to either college or a job. When leaving high school, we become different people. In other words, his road will branch from yours leaving you heartbroken. It's best just to leave the relationship as it is right now...friends. :)

Personally, I think it would be better for you to date someone 15 or 16. Later age won't matter but this is my opinion now.

If you were not in high school, I'd say "age doesn't matter, go for it, have a nice time, etc."

But since you're both in high school (and not of the same age/grade), I only have one thing to say "Careful!".

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR..NEVER DATE A GUY WHO GOES TO THE SAME SCHOOL AS YOU..EVERYONE ENDS UP KNOWING YOUR BUSINESS. AND HE IS 18...HE IS NOT THAT OLDER THAN YOU..BUT HE IS CONSIDERED AN ADULT BY LAW, AND YOUR A MINOR. HE IS OLDER, AND IS PROBLEY GONNA BE EXPECTING MORE, SINCE HE IS OLDER AND POPULAR. HOLDING HANDS AIN'T GONNA CUT IT FOR LONG. AND WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT HIS CHARACTOR WHEN IT COMES TO LIKING YOUNG GIRLS YOUR AGE..NEVER, EVER A GOOD SIGN!

He is a bit old for you. But once you turn 18 then you can date him.
