Are you talking about bright red blood? That is probably from fissures in the rectum or hemorrhoids. If it's dark, tarry blood it's from your stomach and could be an ulcer.

A small amount of fresh blood is often hemmroids.
Also, if you are constipated when you have a bowel movment you might rupture some small blood vessles.
There can be more serious issues too. Tumors, Angiodysplasia or other problems.
It is the best thing for you to do is see your doctor with these questions

Could be hemorrhoids. I am no expert, but they say bright blood in stools is hemorrhoids, and dark blood signifies a more serious condition. Either way, get it checked out.

One possible cause is hemorrhoids as some of the other posters suggested but the best thing to do is have this evaluated by your dr so that they can help you figure out what is going on.

YOU MIGHT HAVE A FISURE WHICH IS A CRACK OR SMALL RIP. CONSTIPATION MAY DO THAT. IRRITALBE BOWEL SYNDROME. POLYPS. EATING DISORDERS WHERE A PERSON IS TAKING LAXITIVES AND DIURETICS CAN ALSO CAUSE BLEEDING. GET A MD TO CHECK IT OUT. IF THIS CONTINUES IT SHOULD NOT BE IGNORED.
