leading up to prom?

so i asked this guy to prom and he said yes. but prom isn't until the 28th of april. what can we do until then to avoid the awkwardness of asking someone to prom early?

The early bird gets the worm. You got your date, right? If you had waited he may have been going with someone else. When it comes to prom there will always be some awkwardness. But when that night comes around you'll forget all that and just have a wonderful time! :)
