hi your not in love its an infatuation you say you never even talked to him, well dont u think its about time that a.if you "love him" then u need to build on a relationship wether that being friends or what,
b, take time to get to know him b4 u say ur in love with him
he could turn out to be a right pig
it sounds like your still at skool so six year is a very long time to feel like this over someone that you dont have any friendship with

Two options:
one - tell him, and he will either reject you nicely (it seem he's a nice guy), then try to stay friends, althought really really hard, or accept you (happy ending)
second - stop liking him, if he haven't made a move or show signs for 6 years, then he's probably not interested.
I had similar experience, and it took me a while to make teh decision of telling him - got rejected (first time i done it, first time i got rejected, sad.. still kind sad.. hehe), but he is a really really nice guy, so hopefully we will still be good friends.

hey u love him for 6 years but u didn't said,it's very good that u r proud but love is something diffrent.
try to look at him in a way that he undrestand u love him ,mens get women look mean very soon if u look in that way but u c he don't do anything ,may b he don't love u,looking is better than saying,may b u go and say i love u he look at ur eyes and say i don't ,then world will destroy on ur head suddenly.
try to b near him more.
