why is alcohol an issue??

Alcohol can be an issue; it depends what else is involved. If you're driving or going to be driving, drinking liquor can impair your performance to the point you are cited, crash, or kill someone. Quite a few issues there.
Depending on your alcohol consumption and your genetic makeup, you could become an alcoholic and lose your family and your job. Maybe you don't drink quite that much but your habits affect your liver, blood pressure or other aspects of your health.
Not everyone makes great choices where alcohol is concerned. That's why it's an issue.

It's only an issue in the US because people don't know how to handle themselves. I've traveled abroad in many countries that don't have a drinking age and alcohol is no big deal because it isn't restricted. People show a lot more self resevervation in those situations. It makes americans look pretty dumb.

Because alcohol is put under drugs. It affects you and how you act. You can get very violent or really drousy and uncoordinated. It can also kill ecspeacially if you're behind the wheel of a car. You can't keep control of yourself and the level of drinking is rising. Even loads of young people who are teenagers drink now because they think it's "cool"

have you lost any body in your family due to liver chirioses,have you seen people die on streets because the family members dont allow them at home because they are job less due to alcohol addiction,ever seen a drunk husband beating his wife and children for more money to get drunk.i have seen and i hate alcohol addiction like its a evil in front of me and fell like choping his head.any person from a family effected by alcohol can understand what i mean,its a issue because people get addicted,and for those who dont get addicted it may not matter.

because it fades your memory rots your liver and kidneys and kills irreplaceable brain cells not to mention it gives you bad breath and makes you walk funny

because underage kids are getting drunk and thinking it's cool, and then they go off and accidentally kill themselves or someone else.
