Why are Americans the fattest people on Earth?

Is it because the U.S.A thinks the worlds resources belong to them and they have to use them all up before china takes over.

C J is right they have more resources than any one else but they are greedy like bullies and have to rape and pillage the rest off the world (using people like tony Blair as puppets) before they use their own.

No, its because most of the worlds food resources do actually belong to them - They produce most of the food, and it is cheap, and even the poor of enough disposable income to buy more than they need, and they have so much they can't eat it, fat as they are, as fast as it is produced. A homeless man in America is usually fat if he's not addicted to hard drugs.

They give millions of tons of Grain away free, even to their enemies. Most UN relief foods come free from America. During the cold war the USSR had missiles pointed at the Us, and US grain was feeding them. North Korea gets its grain from the US via China, which also gets much of its food from the US. Europe eats AMerican grain; and though they banned US Beef because of additives, the AMerican cattle industry is safer and more healthy than the EUs. Iraq was fed by the Us during the Sanctions years.

The amazing success of the AMerican agriculture is responsable for the fatness and comfort of the American diner, and it is wonderful. America is willing to share this with the world, but some countries are to uinstable to accept it, and evil men hoard the charity of AMericans while poor people starve. That's not AMerica's fault.

I was born in Palestine, where even the Occupiers could not buy meat more than once a week. Now I am happy to be an American proud of my new country's accomplishments in agriculture.

Life in the US is so boring Americans pass the time by eating. What else can they do but sit stuffing their mouths watching TV. It's a sad life. In some magazines and newspapers the "things to do" section lists what's on TV. How sad....but funny. HA HA HA.

Because mom works and is too tired or busy to cook. And because of high fat,high calory fast food and easily accessible snacks. And too large portion size. And High fructose corn syrup in everything.

Oh really? Since America is the largest exporter of food on the planet, do you think we ought to cut off food aid to everyone? Might as well, since we hear nothing but complaints. OH, and did you know that China imports food from us? Maybe we'll just starve the "chinks" out and they won't have enough energy to "take us over".

We have enough coal in this country to exceed 200 years. We have enough corn and switchgrass to supply all of the fuel needs, indefinitely. All we need to do is change over from gas to alcohol. We have enough nuclear material to run powerplants indefinitely. We have enough water to run hydro plants, indefinitely. We are the largest producer of steel in the world.

What the hell do we need from you?

Im Australian, and alot of aussies are fat to. Thanks to Americans. Im a vegan so i dont have to worry about weight problems but americans invented fast food companies. Why couldnt they just leave australia alone we dont like them.

Americans eat too much meat, which has a lot of fat content. In China they eat much less of it.
