times per day. Like right above my brain. Is this bad. Any advice on how to stop doing this?

I would recommend getting in touch with your dr to have them help you figure out what could be going on as far as possible cause and on how to stop this.

It is a myth that cracking your knuckles is bad for you, or causes arthritis, or whatever people say. Actually, the popping noise is fluid being released, not bone striking bone. Now as far as your neck goes, I imagine its the same principal. A good person to ask and confirm this is a Chiropractor. But as far as it being an emergency, and go to the doctor now, its not. I see no more harm, popping your neck, as popping your muscles.

You need to seek help,this behavior could be dangerous.There may be a medical reason as to why you are doing this

by cracking your neck wont affect your brain it might later on produce neck arthritis.
