How can my wife obtain an alien registration number?

I will soon start the immigration process to bring my wife to the U.S. from South America, and some of the documents I have encountered require an alien registration #. Does anyone know how I can obtain this for her? Thanks

Leave it blank, She doesn't have one. After the application is received , she will get an A#.

Your wife will get an alien registration number when her immigrant visa petition is approved. You need to start at the beginning, with the reference I gave you in your other question. Good luck!
