no.

there is enough water in the ocean
it is not important at all that everthing we use goes back into the ocean.

humans can drink billions of years before all the water is gone. at that time the sun is not burning anymore so that is a bigger 'problem' than the water.

Evaporation and rain are the key features of the water cycle. Without that, all the water would be salt water in a sea surrounded by a lifeless desert. If no water ever evaporated from the seas, even the air would be bone dry everywhere.

Life needs water, so the water cycle that delivers that water is very important!

After evaporation, the water cycle also passes through ecological features like marshlands and filtering through soil that clean the water, and rain and snow actually clean the air as well. It is a much tidier and agreeable world on automatic wash cycle by the water cycle too ;)

Snow and ice free up a great lot of open land by keeping water levels lower, so it is a *bigger* world to live on, thanks to the water cycle (unless you are a fish!)

Is the water cycle important to us. I ask you a question. Do you sweat when it's hot or you work hard? I you do then it is important otherwise you would have a serious problem called heat stroke. Other than our bodies, which is much like the planet, cloud are the planets sweat and the rain the condensation of that sweat.

Yes it is important to support life on Earth. The water cycle allows water to be naturally recycled (and doesn't cost us anything), so in a way it can prevents complete loss of water.

For more info look water cycle on Wikipedia!

Of course! When the water is in a lake, it keeps many things alive like animals and fish. We need these to eat for survival.

When the water evaporates into the air, it helps reduce floods.

When it rains, it helps water plants and crops to feed people and animals! :D
