my school was far away from my home, so for the last 6 years, i had lack of sleep (only sleep 6-7 hours a nite). i schooled from 7am to 3.30 pm+tons of homeworks, and the result is i have very dark circles&eye bag.
now im a college student, & since i went to college i hv normal life, i sleep enough (8hours/nite), i drink plenty of water, i work out, i eat healthy food, but the eyebag & dark circle still there. bcause of dark circle&eye bags, i look 10 years older than my age. people on the street (security men, seller) usually call me ma'am. i hate that.
i've tried every home remedies like:slice cucumber to be put on ur eyes for 10-15 minutes till freeze spoon. but nothing work, and getting worse, because if i put something cold to my eye bag it'll bigger & darker.
i also hv tried eye cream (loreal, neutrogena, dermalogica). and nothing work.
help mee!!!!

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

you can minise them by: Slide the fresh potato; place the slides over the eye areas and rest for 10-15 mins. Then, clean the eye areas with water [just wash off the smell will do!]. or Smash the fresh potatoes into paste; put the paste over the dark circle areas and rest for 10-15mins. Then wash off the paste with water. many people are suffer from dark circles under the eyes areas. It could be because of poor blood circulation around the areas and some light massage can help. Ingredients: Carrot x 200g Apple x 100g Pineapple x 50g A bit of Honey Method: Put carrot, pineapple and apple in the juicer and juice them. When it’s done, put a bit of honey in to make it tasty. I believe together with regular exercise would certainly help a lot in improving the blood circulation, too - more effective. goodluck =)

How did the one extra hour of sleep do any better for you?
You said when you were slightly younger, you got "only" seven hours of sleep, and here you're saying you get eight.
That's only a one hour difference.
If you want a dramatic inprovement, make a dramatic change.
Sleep as much as you can--take naps; do your homework, or whatever else you need to do, early, so you can have more time; etc.
I'm afraid I don't have any home remedies to recommend, sorry.

at night before you go to bed place a cold as cold as you can get wash cloth over your eyes for five minutes, then get a desent eye cream and place it on your eyes you will probably need to use a small amout of concealer beneath your eyes as well not everyones so lucky and it generally runs in the family you might also need to start taking some vitamin b12 and if they are puffy you can use preperation h under the eye to reduce swelling

the only answer i know for baggy eyes is sleep. other than that, ask the dermatologist. as for your dark circles, there's a "skin lightening" cream available over the counter. you gotta go to some website that sells it. they really work!
