First, see the MD, especially if you are , short of breath/coughing up yellow sputum, wheezing, pain with breathing, hard to breathe after exertion, etc. Let the MD diagnose "bronchitis" or not...but at home you could (1). Not smoke , (2). Try a hot steamy shower, helps to loosen phlegm (3). Try sleeping semi-sitting. Hope you feel better soon.

Breathing exercise and related yoga practice, pollution free air around, keeping warm, protecting throat thro' saline gargle, warm food and water, wash feet with warm water a few times a day, particularly at night before bed!
