trying to "change" ur boyfriend for the better.. or letting them do what they do even if though its bad just because they enjoy it (like u'd rather see them happy more than anything..)??

You can only change people through your own actions and hope that they follow suit. You just can't make someone change-people aren't robots. It's frustrating-I know.

Trying to change anyone is just a bad idea. First, you can't force your will on anyone, second, what makes you think your will or idea of what's "bad" is right. I'm really not trying to sound like a jerk here, but I've live my whole life with people trying to "change" me for the better, or at least what thier idea of better was, without any regard for my feelings.

People can not change. Sound like an issue of codependency.

speaking from experience, you can't go into a relationship expecting to change the other person. It just dosen't work.

trying to change anyone for the "better" is your definition of "better"....

you either like him for all of his attributes..... positive and negative......

and accept him....

or move on .. and find a different bf.....

one that makes you happy...... as the one you currently have... doesn't make you happy........
