First off, thank you for helping, but please save the "Dont have sex" and "use condoms" for someone else. I would just like to know the best form of contraception that doesnt involve condoms, basically a way I can go in bareback, release, and not have a baby. I know of such solutions like BC pills, but Ive also heard of spermicide, and the morning after pill. I would like information on all three, and which would work best. Also I would like to know about the ovulation period and which time the girl is least fertile. Thank you.

So I heard BC pills, how are they supposed to be used? And Ive also heard about the nuva ring or whatever, how is that used? I need times too. And I also heard 5 days after ovulation. Is that the first 5 days afters or I should wait 5 days after? Try to be as specific as possible.

Alright so I heard nuva ring and rythm are the best. When does the nuva ring go in? Before or after sex? And please go into mroe detail about the ryhtm method.

First off, i have to say that you are being very selfish by trying to put all the responsibilty for birth control on the girl, just so you can go 'bareback' and not have to wear a condom. Only one positive here, is that you are trying to figure out an alternate method of birth control. You just have a bass-ackwards way of doing it! IF 'the girl' (as you say) wants to wear the Nuva-ring, it is something that is inserted up into the vagina, and stays there for about three weeks(or right before sex, she can take it out)...then the female takes it out before her period. The ring time releases hormones, and it works like the pill, except you don't have to remember to swallow a pill everyday! Again, if 'the girl' is not willing to go on ANY sort of birth control for you, it is your responsibilty to suck it up, and wear the damned condom! Besides, birth control messes with the hormones in our bodies, whereas a condom is very temporary.

I believe the Nuva Ring is inserted the day after your period ends. (I can't remember exactly from when I took it.) You leave it in 3 weeks straight, then remove it so you can have your period. It goes in just like a tampon basically, and you can remove it to have sex, but only for 3 hours then you have to put it back in. I had sex with and without it in, just depends on if you feel it or not. I had to stop taking it because I have a growth/tumor on my vaginal wall and it was making it not stay in properly. Anways...
I would NOT suggest the PlanB pill as your sole method of birth control. It is for emergencies ONLY and should not be used lighly.
I am not too familiar with spermicide, I have never used it. But I guess if you use it properly, it should prevent pregnancy.
Pills have been the best for me so far I guess, out of the patch, ring, and pills.
Go see an obgyn or go to your Local Planned Parenthood (that's where I started at and they're great). They will be able to tell you which is best for what you're trying to achieve. (no pregnancy, clear up acne, painful periods, regulate periods, etc.)

Depends on what you mean by "best method" do you want the one that is least likely to get her pregnant or the one that is less likely to interrupt the "mood?" BC pills are really the best way. Of course you know that they aren't going to prevent any STD and you need to know that some women are against the morning after pill as they feel it is morally wrong. Their is also the female condom and the diaphragm as well as the BC shot (depo provera) a good place to look for accurate information is planned parenthood.com. I really would choose a contraception method that puts you in control. Many irresponsible women may forget a pill and can get pregnant, they may not put in the female condom correctly and anyone can say they are on the shot. Some women want to get pregnant especially when the are young and if you are not in a committed relationship you really have no way of knowing (even some in a committed relationship have been tricked into pregnancy)

First off, and sorry if I offend, if you choose to go without condoms you both better make sure you go to the doctors and get checked for std's. BC does not protect against std's. Condoms (though do not prevent some forms) are the only thing that protects against this. However, there are many forms of bc that help. If she is forgetful, I wouldn't recommend bc pills. There are things such as depo provera (which last three months) she can take that last for a while. You might have her try out one and see how her body takes it. I would have her ask her doctor which would be best for her. If you want to be sure she does not get pregnant, then best thing to do would be use a condom. If you both have not been checked out then pregnancy is not your only worry. Also know that any of these methods are not fool proof and there is always a chance for pregnancy. Also, why should she be the only one responsible? If you do not want pregnancy then condoms should be for you. What if she forgets? You are screwed dude. The pull out method is not the best birth control method and is not very accurate.

Spermacides are to be used WITH a condom or diaphram and are not very effective. The morning after pill is not to be used on a regular basis as it can mess up a woman's hormones to the point of her NEVER being able to conceive if and when she chooses to, it is 85% effective IF used properly and is only to be used in an emergency. There is really no time a woman is "least" fertile. YES she is more likely to become pregnant at ovulation but she CAN GET PREGNANT ANYTIME DURING THE MONTH INCLUDING ON HER MENSES Ovulation is NOT an exact science and MANY MANY MANY women ovulate more than once a month even though they may not no it. As for "the rythym method"...yeah wonderful method...I know a couple who used this method...they have 12 children. So if you don't want to abstain from sex, if you don't want to wear a condom and you don't want the woman to get pregnant...PHUCK A BLOW UP DOLL

I don't really know much about some of the things mentioned here. I can tell you, though, that an IUD is one of the best forms of birth control available for women. I don't know if you have a steady gf or whatever, but if you do, she can get an IUD (inter-uterine device) if she's had at least 1 child. It's a soft, t-shaped thing with 2 strings hanging from it. Her ob/gyn inserts it into her uterus by going through the vagina. They then trim the strings and you're done. The most commonly used one lasts for 5 years--at the end of the 5 years, you simply have it removed and, if you want, you can have another put in at the same visit. There's also one that lasts for 10 years. You can have them removed at any time, and can get pregnant immediately after removal. It is 99.9% effective. As far as ovulation rates, they simply don't always apply. For most women it's the week before they get their period, but I know you know there's still a good chance of impregnation.

Spermicides work by killing the sperm before it reaches the uterus.
Morning after pill works by stopping the process - its not recommended using it repeatedly, it can damage the woman inside.
Ask the girl if she is on the pill. There are heaps of different types and the doctor will recommend one that is best for her.
5 days after her period is the best time to have sex with no contraception..

Try to avoid going in the front and go in the back instead. And also don't have sex with the girl until right after the period no more than a week later because the period is cleansing out the eggs the the uterus got ready to disperse. Go soft an don't to deep. That spermicide thing works good. Make sure is something that you do because the girl might not ake the pill.

you should get a vasectomy. they snip the tube that mixes sperm into your semen so you can't get a girl pregnant, no matter what.
the morning after pill cannot be used regularly. it basically overdoses a woman on the birth control pill so its just for occasional emergencies. it also not as effective as the pill taken regularly.
spermicide alone is far less effective than condoms. like 85%
dont be a freaking idiot. you seriously think that if guys could "go in. release. and not have a baby" they would have ever invented condoms!?!??!?!?!?!?!?! no way.
it sucks but its true.
also nothing but a condom will even begin to protect you against STDs.

The site below will answer all your questions, but it seems you are trying to find ways to keep the girl from getting pregnant and not concerned about giving her an STD or HIV. How old are you? Ovulation cycles vary - when it happens depends of the woman you are with. It sounds like you want to just spend your seed everywhere. Contraceptives are not a sure thing - a woman can still get pregnant if one is used.
