Are you in love or lust? How much do you really know your neighbor?
People often confuse infatuation with love. If you feel you have a chance, just flirt with him a little more. If he's interested, he will ask you out.
Just be careful not to jump into a relationship too soon.

Depends on a lot of things. Are you hot? How hot is he? Is he out of your league? Are your kids a pain to be around (Be honest)?
If he is good looking then other (single, younger) women are probably after him too. If your kids are brats he's not gonna want to around them. You already have a couple strikes against you so I'd suggest taking a shot at it but have realistic expectations. Good luck.

Well you have lots of chances - if you live close, you have plenty of opportunity! Be friendly, invite your neighbor for dinner, get to know them. Ask your neighbor to borrow something of theirs - it's a psychological thing - if you ask to borrow something, even just a cup of sugar, they'll like you. They'll feel like you're indebted to them & will count on you as a friend who will pay you back in the future. They wouldn't have given you a cup of sugar or whatever else you borrowed if they didn't like you.

Is your neighbour single too? If he is - go and borrow a cup of sugar and get chatting. Start a conversation over the garden fence. Be friendly but not over anxious.

Dont belittle yourself because you are a sinlge mum - there are heaps and heaps of em around.... If you truely love anyone you have to give it a try, perhaps you should sus him out on his opinion on single mums and just take your time with him - get him to see your good qualities and you may just get him.
