I have a mad crush on this guy at my work and I can't stop thinking about him. I know he is totally wrong for me. He is VERY taken and has a lot of baggage. You can say that we are pretty much from 2 different worlds. Anyways I really don't want to like him, hes just not right for me. My friends told me to not pursue anything with him and just forget him; they also said he is way below my standards. But, I guess that saying is true: "You can't help who you fall for." Anyways, my question is how do I even start to forget about him when I see him practically everyday and whenever I speak to him, he sends shivers up and down my spine. I know I sound like a complete idiot, but I'd rather take a stranger's advice than my friends' because you guys don't know anything about me.

Don't do anything about it the only real thing to do is know your role you already know he's not good for you and he has a lot of baggage so continue with your normal life take it from me if i had known as much as you know about my kids father i would have thrown him back in the sea and remind myself never to fish in that part again i guess i can say watch what you wish for because what you wish for might not turn out to be all that you want

It will take time. But try to restrain yourself and go with your initial gut instinct. There are too many warning signs and it sounds like you don't even need convincing that he's not a good catch for you. Run as fast as you can before you get hurt. I speak from experience and I'm sure there are a lot of other people who would agree.

don't make a decision on whether what ur friends think you should do that or this or likes someone or not...even though they're just trying to help you out, but if you don't do what you want to do you end up regreting it later and wonder what if. Just follow your heart and tell your self what do I like so much about that guy? What kept me behaving like this? What well happen if? and you'll find your own answer...he's taken anways.

You dont sound like an idiot. Just think about what you like about him... is it worth it to break him up with another woman? what would happen if a guy did that to you. Dont try to avoid him at work just be yourself and use him as eye candy or something lol you cant make a move but maybe his relationship wont last as long as you think.

You know he's wrong for you, that's the first step. The second is to date other people. People tend to become infatuated with one person at a time. When you have someone else to occupy your mind, you'll forget all about Mr. Wrong.

Maybe you are seeing the inside of him...other than that I don't reccomend relationships within a working environment as it makes things hard.
Meet other people and you sould find a good guy soon...

Follow your heart. Always. If your heart is telling you he is wrong, then forget him. Be sure you are listening to your heart and not your friends. Besides, how are you sure that he would like you back anyway?
