My place is not made for 2 suites.. but it is used for 2 suites. I am in the bottom. Neighbors on top. The place is so noisy, I can hear them snore! They can hear what t.v. station I listen to and even my alarm clock. They neighbors have had it with this place and are moving. The landlord is selling. I am still in the basement and am worried about the new neighbors that will come because I am having a baby in 13 weeks! I am single and have to decide on my own. Should I stay and hope they don't complain about the baby crying and waking them up at night (which means I get evicted, if they complain to much). Or should I stay and hope for the best? What to do? If I move, should it be before baby or after? I am single with a soon baby and a 7 year old.

Well, its tough to say. If you already know that the walls are thin then no matter who lives there is going to hear everything that everyone else is doing.
Personally, it would drive me crazy. I think its great that you are being considerate of others feelings, however, what about you? You and your baby are going to need peace and quiet when he/she comes into this world. So for these reasons, I would find a new place before the baby comes. It will be much more difficult to do after.

you have to think what's going to be best for ur kids n you. I would move to a place were if my baby is crying neighbors are not complaining n there isnt a risk of being kick out. you want to be comfortable in ur place not always on the edge. find somewhere comfortable thats affordable for you where you can relax with ur kids. i wish and pray for the best for you. good luck and God bless

Deja vu! I just answered a question about a pregnant woman who was worried because the people in the upstairs apartment are complaining that she's too noisy. She was worried that she would get evicted because of the complaints. Was that you?

i would hate to see you uprooted at this time, being pregnant and single. but it sounds like you may need more privacy, anda more sound proof place to live. it works both ways with a baby, what if the new people are loud, and keep your infant awake? if there are other places to move, maybe you should look into it before your further along in your pregnancy. good luck

No better time than the present. There's an old saying: Never put off til tomorrow what you can do today. I think my son is finally learning that one by procrastinating and finding out it doesn't work.

Don't cross your bridges till you come to them.. If you are comfortable and happy where you are just wait and see what happens.
