its been 20 centuries since Jesus died , and almost forever since the first human died on this planet .

Now, dont you think that God in controlling this earth by making all human beings carry their religion from one genration to the next ?

There has to be a force - a good one (God)

My reason is that the religion has been carried forward for generations.

And there is a bad force(Devil), because there are many non-believers
Maybe they believe in their hearts, but are not willing to admit it.
What say ?

Wow...That is an interesting view point

I however, do not believe the devil is to blame for the unbelievers.

"each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death"

James 1 14:15

and if you want proof (proof for others)that God exists....try creation. It had to be created at some point (or it already existed [conservation of mass])

My proof comes from God speaking with me every day.

I say that your "proof" needs work. If you are going to claim that age and stayng power are somehow proof of a deity's existence, then you'd better start worshipping the Hindu gods right away. They were around long before monotheism got the world in its stranglehold.

Religion is passed from one generation to the next by teaching and indoctrination that starts from birth. No force is "making" people do this. This is a natural tendency.

No, there does not HAVE to be a force, let alone a "good" one.

BTW: There is not a "bad" force out there either.

Also: As astonishing as this idea is to you, non-believers really DON'T believe. That's why we call ourselves a-theists. Considering that we non-believers make up less than 7% of the total population, if we are somehow magically creating a "bad" force, we must be astonishingly powerful indeed. Unless you're counting the non-Chriostian faiths in that number too (I wouldn't be at all surprised).

In total, your "proof" proves nothing except that you have an extremely myopic and provincial perspective on the world.

My proof that God does not exist.

If God created everything, why isn't everything perfect? From the stars in the sky, to the rocks on the ground, to the leaves on the trees, to the people you meet. Not any of them are perfect.

If God is so powerful, why does God allow such bad things happen to children. For example, earthquakes.

If two religious groups compete in a sport and both teams pray before the event, when one team loses is God punishing them?

When two directions seem equally good, why doesn't God come out with a big booming voice and tell us what to do? For example; Terri Schiavo. The debate on should she be allowed to die or should she be kept alive.

does that mean the gods kali, shiva and vishnu exist, how about ahura mazda or the rainbow snake. all of the religions that believe in these deities are alive and kicking. did their gods make them continue believing. does that mean the god of abraham isn't alone but has other godly friends up there with him?

There's not much to that statement.

I believe in God because of things in my life. Not religion. I hate religion.

Religion continues because they're very very good at getting children at a young age and brainwashing them into believing the lies of the bible.

Non-believers are people that can see through the filth and free their minds.

I think that there is only one force and that it is neither good or evil just is

the good comes from us and how we use it and the bad comes from us and how we use it

think of StarWars.....it's all the same power, just manifested differently with different people

After millenia, people still insist on believing, stupidly, that exposure to cold, damp conditions will make you sick.

A pervasive belief proves nothing.

Isn't that 'proof' that the religions older than Christianity are the true religions?
