Jam 5:1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
Jam 5:2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
Jam 5:3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
Jam 5:4 Behold, the hire of the laborers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.
Jam 5:5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
Jam 5:6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.
EDIT...why do so many assume Kaiah doesn't help the poor?
Don't forget about them (popes) being too busy with other important "Christian" works like the "blessing of the Ferrari's"

They actually are the richest group in the world. How did they get this way? Throughout the 16th century and through today they have told people they can give them money to shorten their time or loved one's time in the make believe place "purgatory." This place is not even mentioned the Bible! But, this idea was introduced in a time where no one spoke Latin but the extremely educated monks, pope, bishops, professors. A man named Luther translated the Bible to German which caused a huge uproar, but still the Catholic dictators managed to hold on to many people's purses and heart strings. Whenever they wanted more money, they made up a new stipulation. There was even a time where they told extremely poor people that they could buy their salvation with a coin. Naturally, lots of people joined in with their only money for their salvation. This was a horrible lie made by the Catholic church. They still make lies today to keep their wealth growing and their power.
As for why won't they use the money to get rid of debt?? Why did they steal it from extremely poor people in the first point? Complete and utter GREED. They are still greedy today and will NEVER give their wealth to help anyone, instead they use it to dress and eat lavishly. Pretty disgusting, eh? Definately disgusting.
Never allow someone to tell you Catholism is Christianity. That is another lie. The only way to heaven is through Christ, not a pope. That's why it is called CHRISTianity. Don't forget it is the Catholics who would kill people for even straying from Catholism from the 1400s to the late 1800s. Anyone who claimed Christ as their Saviour was also put to death. Doesn't sound like they embrace Christianity to be the only way, but Catholism to be the supposive only way. If they didn't, they would not be so rich!!!

Third world debt elimination is not the cure for their worries. If this debt was eliminated now they will incur more debt in next 10 years. It is the system in the 3rd world countries that keep them there. No one forces to be there and catholic church have no obligation to eliminate their debts.
On other side church would give money only if you convert, so if you do not convert you do not get the money or help.

Somebody has to buy the wine and crackers.
They need the monies raised in church to pay for the expenses from having to conduct mass every day. There are people to pay and bill to pay too. Why don't the country that created the debt stop spending so much money and find a resourse to monopolize. And all the hungry paople need to move to where the food will grow. There I solved world hunger and debt.

The debt that the Third World owes, it owes to nations like the U.S. Why would the Catholic church be involved with that?
Also, the church would not want to help a dictatorship pay off its loans. The church gives food to the hungry and that sort of thing.

I can only guess at the Vatican's reasoning. Perhaps they don't want to see the money go toward the profits of unscrupulous debt manipulators and loan sharks like the IMF and the World Bank.

The Catholic church is the first giver worldwide. It has more staff paid for in the third world than any other international organisation, including the UN.
Still, is not enough.
We simply don't like showing off. We don't have to.
Why don't you ask the richest woman in the world (the Queen), who happens to be the head of the Church of England, to do it?

Because all the donations collected from followers over centuries would have been in vain. A waste of time. The better way would be to convert third world countries and start collecting donations from them.

Yes they may well do, but then so do the countries invading smaller countries, and all the money laundering that goes into terrorism, drugs and war... should we single out those minorities as-well?

it's people like you that are the problem.
It doesn't have enought money for starters and even if it did, it's a sad day when people believe that money alone can solve the worlds problems.
