The original, unchanged revelations given to Abraham and other prophets(like Moses and Jesus ) reaching back to Adam all came from the One True God(The Creator). This common origin explains their similarities in many beliefs and values

However, over time the teachings of the various religions, due to a variety of reasons, have become distorted and mixed with made-man ideas.

The last Prophet and Messenger of God, Muhammad , who is a direct descendant of Abraham through his first born son, Ishmael, was sent with the Last Guidance, Revelation and Testament, the Holy Qur'an(koran) to amend and correct the changes and corruption made to the the "Torah" which was sent to Moses and theTrue Gospel of Jesus. To say the truth ,God preserved all the other Holy Books plainly by preserving His Last Book the Holy Qur'an(koran)which contains the right and the truth of all that was changed in those other Books.

This is why this last Revelation which was sent 1423 years ago has remained unchanged, not even a word or a letter has been altered.

There is not even one word of difference between two Arabic Qur'ans, anywhere in the world. There has been no disagreements in history among Muslims as to what should and should not be in the Qur'an. However, in the case of the Bible, even the most ancient manuscripts conflict with one another so that no two are identical. Footnotes in all modern versions of the Bible prove this fact.

These revisions serve as concrete proofs that all the Biblical books are not at all divinely inspired. This is because it is beyond man's ability to correct the work of his Creator, who alone is Almighty and perfect

It was only natural for Almighty God to preserve the scripture revealed to Prophet Muhammad, because he was the last Prophet and Final Messenger of God.

Islam teaches us that we must pray directly to God without an intermediary and no soul can bear the burden of another and that the nature of humanity is good, and we did not inherit sin from Adam. Each soul comes into being free of sin.in Islam there are no priests or clergy -- each worshipper, man or woman, has a direct relationship with their Merciful Creator -- Almighty God. Since God is the Owner and Sustainer of everything, as well as the only one who can provide true and complete forgiveness, it is completely futile to try to approach Him through anyone else.

The oneness and universality of God's message requires that people accept all the messengers of God. Rejecting one of them amounts to rejecting them all. The Jews reject Jesus's mission and Muhammad's mission; the Christians reject Muhammad's mission; whereas the Muslims accept them all, but reject incorrect historical interpretations and human elements in these missions.

As the Qur'an is the final revelation and Muhammad is the final prophet, humanity is obligated to accept it: "If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost all spiritual good" (3:86).

The Final Prophet Muhammad said: "Whoever believes there is no god but God, alone without partner, that Muhammad is His messenger, that Jesus is messenger of God, and that Paradise and Hell are true, shall be received by God into Heaven."

you can do that now as you are reading these lines is to pronounce the two confirmations and attestations of faith, here it is

I BEAR WITNESS THAT THERE IS NO GOD WORTHY OF WORSHIP EXCEPT ALLAH ( ARABIC WORD MEANS ONE GOD-THE CREATOR). AND I BEAR WITNESS THAT MUHAMMAD IS HIS SERVANT AND MESSENGER. I BEAR WITNESS THAT JESUS IS HIS SERVANT AND MESSENGER.

The right picture of lslam is conveyed in the Qur'an, which is exemplified by Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. The reality is that it is not fair to judge a religion by the actions of its followers alone because there are good and bad followers in every religion. The correct thing to do is to judge a religion by its documented revelation from God and the prophet who brought that revelation.

I encourage Christians and other religions to learn about Islam from Muslim sources and The Basis Of The Muslim Belief and not rely on second hand information which in many cases is distorted or contains a deep seated anti Muslim agenda. This is indeed a more scholarly approach

Sorry about the name calling but you're a moron if you think that every religion is right. Using simple reasoning that is well within the capabilities of a small child you can see that every religion cannot be right. Each religion not only says something different but many of them specifically say that other religions are wrong. It is conceivable that there may be a couple religions where their teachings do not conflict at all and both of those religions could be right but as far as all of them being right there is no way that could ever happen.

My money is on Christianity being the one true religion. I suggest that you reevaluate your position on religion and then after careful study of a variety of religions you pick the one that you think is right. If after the studying you are still indecisive as to what religion to choose I suggest you go with Christianity.

We have many religions because of the need of man since the begining of time. People used to worship forces of nature in the begining... as far as hindu mythology goes.

There is a power greater than us and when things happen that we can't explain, we think it must be God. That's usually when a religion is usually created based on what that person thinks.

All religions have good and bad... At the end of the day, remember, religion is the man made path to God... religion was made by man and thus is prone to have sin, BUT, at the end of everyday, ask to know God's heart, then you will truly know what is right by Him.

That should what you believe and follow. God alone.

Peace be with you and God bless :)

Again Mr. Raja...
Life is an engineering of psychoware and somatoware. It is total solution for all walks of life and beyond. Guaranteed. Religion, Philosophy, Tradition and Culture are working atmosphare same as dos, windows, linex or unix in computer. It is upto we what we want out of it. Spiritual leaders are programmer of this engineering. Pandit and Followers are operator of these working atmosphare and the do not know or not ready to share protocol language to interact with each other. Hindu (A political term) are most open source programer in this world. No other culture allow their follower to design their own programs to run life with once own interest and terms.
Neo spirituality is a form of free mind. Every one has right to guide his surrounding community with his own creation of religion with beutitude.

Just as there are many paths to achieve the same goal , many rivers to from the ocean, so there are many religions to reach the same god SUPREME REALITY.

the problem that took place is the categorisation of the humans in different classes, and one class saying that the others were not fit or qualified to attain the knowledge of spiritual learning's, so to dis prove these people the seekers formed other religions, and they were so successful that they became great religious leaders like Mahavira (Jain), Buddha, Mohamed, (Muslim), Jesus(Christan)and so no, it is not only these but many more who did not want the publicity.

I'm beginning to think all of them are a big cosmic prank. To see what us stupid humans will do. Fight and kill each other over the right way to worship God. The biggest part of the prank, they put out different ideas on religion. Three of them, they connect in a certain way. They pretend to be God and tell the people that start these religions, that they have to follow certain rules. And the kicker, they tell each one, that their religion is the only right one. Then they sit back and watch to see what we do.

We have as many religions as the perception of men differ. God is but one, but He appears as many as many are the perceptions about Him. However different he appears to be and differently described by the religions, He is the one and only one. If all men of religions do not understand this fundamental Truth, then we must understand that it is due to the maya of God, that He orchestrates this drama.

If an extra-terrestrial came to earth, they would see that there's thousands of different religions, sects, cults, philosophical movements, and belief systems. Each one of them claims to have the Absolute Truth and are full of people who know deep in their souls that theirs is the One True Faith.

So, there's only one logical conclusion that our erstwhile ET could conclude: that he should immediately sign up for the Church of the Subgenius (Praise 'Bob'!), because that's the only religion out there that doesn't give a damn what you believe. That's because all they want is your money. And it even comes with a guarantee, "Eternal Salvation or Triple Your Money Back"!

We are born in one religion. We do not choose it.We see our parents practising it and we follow it.
We should be tolerant to other religions, that is what my religion has taught me. I am a Hindu and proud to be one.
My religion is very old and has been tolerant of others. Actually Hinduism is a way of life.
