No. Church is a useful tool to learn lessons to help you become a good christian. It can be easily abused by people who are not going for the right reasons (I had a friend who only went to pick up guys!). It is my interpretation that God would like us more to worship him in the way we live our lives than by attending church sessions we don't listen to. Church is great for those who need it, but certaintly not for all.

Going to church regularly is to show faith.
One goes to church on a regular basis to mingle with the congregation, without gossiping or badmouthing others, because many centuries ago that was the only time ppl visited each other.
Read your Bible and do as it says (like visit the elderly and shut-ins), say your prayers often, speak to GOD for guidance always; reflect on (apologize for) wrong doings.
Believe that you are going to heaven no sooner then necessary. Always be nice to ppl, especially when they are mean to you first. SMILE, you'll feel better.
I'm not prouod to say that I don't attend church or mass, but I KNOW there's a place for me in heaven!!!!!...

No. Because technically by being a Christian you are a part of the church.
If I've been taught right, the original word we know as 'church' means 'out called ones.' It had nothing to do with a building, like the meaning it has today.

No. You have to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord & Savior to go to heaven. Romans 10:9-10 says...9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Now, if you're saved, you should go to church, but just going to church won't save you.

No, but true Christians go to church because they want to be there.
In order to go to Heaven, one has to have their sins forgiven by God, and repent from all wrong-doing.

Jesus said, "The kingdom of heaven is within you." Not by way of any building. Look for heaven within you. Live there and that example with help anyone who sees you.

no going to church will never get you to heaven. God's Word tells us the only way to be with Him after we die is through Jesus Christ who payed the price for our sins which eternally seperate us from God.
no matter how hard you try you (and i and everyone) will never be perfect and there is no way to "earn" your salvation but God wanted to be with you forever so badly that he gave us His only son to take our sins as his own and pay the ultimate price: death and seperation from God. He did it for you all you have to do now is accept it. church just helps keep you on track and helps you learn more about Gods word and will(plan) for your life, and keeps you encouraged by connecting you with others who (hopefully) love you and want to help you grow and be there for you.

no, you just go to church because you want to learn more about god. the thing that gets you into heaven is if you believe in god and believe that jesus is the son of god.

To go to heaven you have to believe in our savior Jesus Christ. I don't believe you have to go to church, only you and god know where you stand.
