People reject God because they're scared to put their future in the trust of someone else, even if that someone knows their future better than they do. It's scary to give up stuff like that, but I'm glad I did b/c I have never known such joy in my life as when I'm talking to God and learning about him!!

If you had been abandoned in the jungle or on a deserted island as a small child, and somehow managed to survive, you'd have no belief in, or need of, "god your father."
You wouldn't know about his "love", you wouldn't take shelter in his refuge. You'd be an ordinary, atheistic human being, exactly as nature made you.
The only reason you believe all this nonsense is because some other humans told you to, and for whatever reason, you require this delusion in order to get through life.
I, and millions of others, do not. We get by quite well without your god, or any other gods, so if you can't appreciate our position, or respect our decision, than please just shut up!

I'm not sure people are against God. What they're against is a Holy, Righteous God that will hold them accountable for their deeds. Jesus was very clear about why men reject God.
John 3:19 says " And this is the judgment, that the light(Jesus) is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil".

That is written on the bible. Many will not believe God. While all human creatures are bound to believe God, many will not believe him and those are what we call the atheist. They will really go against God and will try to fight God and maybe they will be successful for a moment but will not last forever.
Time will come that religious people will conquer them and there when judgment come, they maybe go to hell to suffer the penalty of burning or heating to the lake of fire and may repent but everything has done. They will stay there forever to suffer.
Those who believe God, and follow his teachings and their sins were forgiven will stay with God in heaven to have eternal life to enjoy the true paradise in heaven.

You mean God rules you. I don't have a problem with a God but I do see it as his failure to prove to me his existence.
Anyway you and I see the God force quite differently. I see man's ability to create as part of the universal creation. It serve me not to worry about an absent God on this planet. I see it as my purpose to help men lost in a God complex to realize he is more important right now than worshiping a non existent God for some pie in the sky promise of eternal happiness that will happen anyway after death.
It is the love today of our fellow man and woman that will create a better world.

Sorry, it's not that simple. There's lots of people with lots of different beliefs all around the world who love their version of God, too. The question is, who really knows what they're talking about, and how do they know they're right?
If a sincere Hindu came up to you and said he loves his gods and goddesses, what would you say to him? What about a sincere Muslim, or Buddhist? Would you accept what they say, or tell them that they are wrong? And if you'd tell them that they're wrong, then why would it be that they are so in love with their versions of God in the same way that you are with yours?
I don't know what you believe, but the differences in religious opinion out there make this more complicated than you might realize.

While I will not debate that our Father cares. I do take offense that we have no choice. Mankind, as well as each individual was given free choice when Adam and Eve ate of the fruit. Man is not perfect. We gave that up, BUT not through our own actions. So you seem to claim we are guilty of the sins of our father. And even those that believe are sometime "kicked in the teeth" while they are down. You can not justify this with logic, only with your faith. Man is a creature with finite wisdom and only limited understanding. To claim otherwise would be hubris. And to claim the knowledge of the will of the FATHER.

Which version of God are we talking about? The problem with most God Thumpers is that they are evangelical Christians who only equate God with Jesus and thus anyone not wishing to embrace Christ is condemed to H@llfire and eternal damnation.
Peace....
