i did, i was with the guy for 7 months. and no, it didnt work out. he wasnt who he said he was...its so scary meeting people on the internet, you cant use your intuition like you can in person. people can be who they want to be on the net. if you do meet someone, make sure you are not alone, take friends with you or family..etc...

I met my boyfriend on myspace, and we're very happy. We've been together for almost 6 months now. I've also met some female friends over the internet. So it can work out. You have to be careful, of course. Not everyone is who they say they are.

hi there wisdom, My brother met his wife on the internet. They have now been married for 2 years and have a daughter.
I must add that you have to be very aware of security when meeting a stranger. Make sure that you always meet in a public place, and get to know the person first. Alot of people have good luck and 'fairy tale' romances, but there are some that have had bad experiences.

I have met two very nice men on the internet, the first one i was in a relationship for 14mths, and i am still with the second guy, (16mths) now. it can work, but as they say, you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find prince charming, take your time, and dont go for the first person you chat too, get to know one another first. good luck, there is someone out there for everyone xx

Yes i met my husband to be through the internet! he is fab..we are the best of friends..the longest we have been apart since the day we met is three days!
I'm so unbeleeeeeeeevably happy!

I met Josh 2 years ago on www.mspace.com... he instant messaged me and we met 2 days later! We now have a beautiful daughter together and are engaged to be married! So, yes, i'd say it worked out!

i have a few true stories.my friend met her boyfriend on the internet they got married.my cousin had a long distance relationship via internet and phone him in uk her in australia,hes married living in australia and 3 kids.another friend in africa her boyfriend in america,through time zones and many arguments they are now together.so yes it can work,but it takes two people to put in 100% equally or it dosent work

I met my fella online 2 years ago, we fell in love quite quickly and he travelled up from Northants to Leeds every weekend to see me, even though I was married!
Within 6 months I had left my husband and moved to Northants, Ive lived here 18 months now, and we are so happy together its unreal! He makes me life complete!
A note for Tammy - is your father in law happy? If so, where he lives is not important, his happiness is! My mans kids have a huge problem with me coz I am younger than they are, and I just wish that they could enjoy their dads happiness, awkward kids are terrible!

met about three to five ladies on the internet but unfortunately it didnt work out, but good thing is they all still keep in contact and we still meet at times as their all friends to me. funny thing is, every single one of them has a friend/s that i know too, small world.
