Please dont EVER believe any chain letter/ email = all crap.... for your sanity dont even bother with them....its some twisted persons idea of fun and it can cause so much stress - like it has with you..... honestly they are winning when they get this kind of response
But marring your highschool sweetheart may not be a bad thing - atleast you wont endure the crap meat market that is becoming the single scene more and more - hope you find happiness and marry for love, when you are ready - not for any other reason such as "it was the next step of our relationship"..... this is the trap most high school sweethearts fall into. If your relationship is awesome and you are still together in many years - why not get married .... but when you see cracks in the relationship, that are not being fixed or go beyong repair then that is the time to get out of it.

First of all: this definitely isn't a true statistic. :P
Second: It's just a chain letter, even if she was thinking about marriage, she probably wouldn't let you know like this. If you are really worried about the post, then talk to her about it. Tell her right away how you feel, so she doesn't start to expect something from you that you are not ready for. Honesty is the key, good luck.
