Hello trying

Here are some general distances for you.

52 - about 80 yards
56 - about 60 yards
60 - about 40 yards

I believe if you try to get any more distance out of them you will start delofting them and that defeats the purpose.

At some point in the future you will find yourself hitting them slightly farther because you will develope a little rythm in your swing.

Good luck

Leon

It really depends on how far you can hit your clubs, but I suggest not to ever hit a full shot with your lob wedge (60 degree). It is difficult to catch the ball cleanly with the lob wedge because it is so flat (horizontal) and there is (usually) very little bounce on these clubs. I am a 0 handicap and I almost never hit a full shot with my lob wedge.
You need to go to the driving range and see how far you can hit your clubs, or go play a round and hit some practice shots with those wedges from 110, 100, 90 yards, etc. and see what works for you. Make sure you don't hold up the group behind you though.

it depends on what you want to hit
i dont have a gap wedge
i hit
PW about 150 full
56* about 125 full
60* about 100 full
64* about 75 full

you need to play variations with your clubs though usually, i mean like shot height, spin, etc

I usually never hit a full shot with these clubs unless i need to fly over a tree or something which makes it easier to get it higher

You should go out and hit a couple buckets with just these clubs...Your wedges are prolly the most used so get familiar with them

The distance a person hits any club is Totally individual. Tiger can hit a 7 Iron like 200 Yds....My friend hits his 120.
like several have said.....go to the range and hit balls......figure out what distance you normally hit each club in your bag.......it takes time...but thats what you have to do

no one person can tell you what distance you should hit what club...its up to you to determine what distances and trajectories you hit with which clubs ...try hitting different clubs the same distance with different heights...knockdowns, run ins, high spinners, hop and stops...work hard and good luck!
