What does it mean to let her?If she is old enough to join the police force,she wouldn't be dependent on my opinion.And if she feels she has to ask me,I would let her.There is no reason I should prevent my children's future.

I am exactly that. my daughter is intending on joining the police force.
ofcourse i would not stop her. after all it's her career choice and her future.
The police force can be dangerous i know, but so can crossing the road, or being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

If she's 18, it's not your decision anyway. Most people aren't cut out to be a police officer. She might change her mind, she might drop out during basic training, she might quit after she starts the actual job. Or she might like it and actually because a useful member of society...

Yes. It is a job with many risks but a job that usually attracts people with a calling to do it. And they have what it takes to stay safe on the job.

considering she has to be of legal age i wouldn't have a choice anyway. it's dangerous but an honerable proffesion. i'd be very proud if my daughter wanted to join the force. scared but proud.

its her decision .. i would talk to her about it ........ for me i would not like it there are way to many risks in being a police officer in this day in age .. as a parent we worry and that would just add so much more to it...

i would probably have to say yes as long as she understands the circumstances of taking the risks but if that is really what my babygirl wants of couse..

Yes I would, we live in a relatively safe city, if we lived somewhere with a high crime rate, then I don't think I would be so quick to say yes .... ... ...
