Yes Humber is a respected college. Have you checked their website?

http://www.humber.ca/

They offer many good programs and depending on what you are looking for they will have it or can direct you to where you might need to go.

Good luck!!

Humber college is great. I have quite a few friends who went there. The city is nice, the campus is a good size and the classes are managable sizes (especially compared to most colleges/universities these days). i honestly haven't heard anything too bad about it besides the residence location (which, i believe, is quite far from some of the campuses).

I would highly recommend Humber College. I am a first year student in the police foundation program, and would say the professors are friendly and approachable. There is a lot of essays and presentations, which prepares students for the real world. Humber;s community and social services programs are highly recognized by potential employers.

Humber is a respected college. There are two campuses, the South Campus is smaller, is mostly arts and music, and the area is a little "grimey" being in the heart of Lakeshore, but it's still good.

The North Campus is set in Rexdale, which you would think would make it bad, but it's in a space set specifially for the campus, and is quite nice, even has a park next to it.

I went to Humber College, and in my opinion, it was a great school. Teachers are very informative, and because of smaller class sizes, you get a better learning experience than a university (where i am now)

Humber is reputed for its technology diplomas, film and television programs, business, and writing/journalism. For Hospitality (restaurant / hotel) or Health Sciences I would investigate George Brown College. Both colleges also offer joint Bachelor Degrees with universities in Ontario. I think Humber is with Guelph University and George Brown with Ryerson university.

It's not Toronto, it is Etobicoke. Overall, there are better schools to go to. Go to U of T or Queen's if you can. They are the only worthwhile post secondary institutions in Ontario. If you must do the CC thing, check out Fleming in Peterborough. York or Humber = Trapped in Suburbs for 2-4 years. Pretty terrifying if you ask me.

Not any more! Humber has gone downhill. Teachers are terrible and unprofessional, students are badly behaved because of the teachers. Teachers show favoritism and are lax at their duties (some of them don't seem to care). Humber is relying on its reputation on sites like this instead of correcting what has gone wrong in recent years.
