If one guy tells another guy...there is no way she likes you more than she likes me is he trying to stake out territory around this girl?...

BTW, he happens to be right! I like one of them, but I love the one who said I like him best.

Since he knows it, is he trying to make the other guy not date me?

Someone mentioned he might be cocky, but it was said as a matter of fact. I wouldn't call it cocky. That's one of those things...if you knew him, he's not cocky.

But the question is still concerning if Is he trying to show the other guy that he is interested in me or is he only stating how I feel about him and there's no reflection on his feelings for me???

I've been a guy my whole life. I don't think there is much strategy involved here. He's probably just stating a fact as he sees it.

I think this is his way of showing up the other guy - meaning big note-ing himself for a strange reason and putting the other guy down. This is odd because if he liked you why hasnt he asked you out ? If he sees some competition wouldnt he get in first? Im sorry if this isnt what you wanted to hear - what I would do is ask the guy you are in love with out on a date.... if he rejects you then try the other one - He has a choice and you will have your answer. Best of luck with this one.... very odd question.

He's using that comment as a way to say "I've got this one, back off." It's one of those things that I've discovered with guys. They tend to act that way around most guys that seem to be playing the same card (You as the queen) Take a look from the sidelines and see what happens. If it doesn't pan out, make a stand and drop a hint every once and a while as to what guy you want.

He's cocky. Putting the other guy down.

It's not staking out his territory, it is saying Screw you, she likes me more.

He might just be saying it to say it, or he might believe it. Hard to tell.

If he didn't want guy 2 to date you, he'd say, Hey, she's with me, take off.

this is .. hard to tell without hearing it, and knowing the guys, you, etc.

Good luck.

Umm. when I was a young'un I just asked what the feelings were of anyone I happened to be dating. I didnt mess around with the "he said " stuff.
Why dont you ask the one you love how he feels about you?

Its hard to tell without actually hearing his tone but I would say that he's definitely proud of the fact that you like him better and he wants this other guy to know it!
Whether its just ego, testosterone or jealousy its hard to say. It sounds like it would really bother him if you dated the other guy.
Why not ask him out? Thats the only way to find out for sure!
Good luck!

This is bravado. Yes, the male is staking claim to you and warning the other male off. This may mean that he likes you but it may just also be a head game to get the other male to make his move on you.
