what is the prcedure to design "a" flip flop?

I am not asking how to design a sequential circuit using flip flops, but the designing "of" flip flops infact. Please tell me in ponts if you know.

While this may sound a bit flippant, you need to know how the circuit works in order to design it, and how the various components respond to voltages and the pulses used to make the circuit, flip, and flop. Basically, you are making 2 saturation amplifiers. When one is turned on by an incoming pulse, it conducts, and passes a pulse to the other amplifier. It is a 1-0 operation. One amplifier turns on, and stays on, the other circuit turns off, and stays off until the next pulse arrives.
