A recent survey in England found that 50% of ER visits are alcohol related. 40% of hospitalization was caused by smoking tobacco.
The reason AA doesn't have to recruit is because "it always get worse, never better."

This Thursday, the 29th of March will be 22 years I've been dry, and no drugs. There are times when that feeling of "if I just had a cold one!" comes around. But, I know better!
