Hey, about 3 weeks ago I was hit in the eye by a baseball and I visited an opthamologist. He perscribed drops for eye pressure, inflamation, and dilation drops so my pupil wouldn't constantly be opening and closing. I took the dilation drops 3 days in a row, as perscriped, and the inflamation and pressure drugs as perscribed. He said there was no nerve damage or retinal detachment, or cuts in my iris for that matter. Here I am about 3-4 weeks later and the pupil in the eye that was hit is still significantly bigger than the other one. It is not as bad as it used to be, but it is definitely bigger. Does anyone know if it is going to be like this permanently, or if there is anyway to tell? If so, are there any contacts I can use to make my eyes look normal? Thanks.

Just for additional information I can see fine, I was NOT diagnosed with traumatic iritis, and I am not worried about the difference in pupil size related to horner's syndrom/brain tumor because it was DEFINITELY caused by trauma to the eye. It's been 3 or 4 weeks. The pressure and swelling are pretty much normal -- there is no blood in the eye.

You need to go back to the ophthalmologist. He doesn't know that you have a problem or he would have had you come in. I hope that everything turns out alright.
