It's a myth. If you've seen that video going around all that is is instant rice pushed into the raw pork. I personally don't eat pork (don't like the taste). But the the coke myth is just that...a myth.

No, this is NOT true. I work in the meat industry and it's not going to happen. In Australia we have very high guidelines on pork now. You would only get that happening in third world countries or places where people eat wild boar. Pork that is sold to the public through a supermarket or a butcher shop is not going to contain worms at all. They could lose their registration, and you, as a consumer could sue them. Save your coke...don't waste it

Pork should really be cooked internally to about 160 degrees F. Now that is only if there are parasites in the meat, but better safe than sorry. Beef can be cooked below about 140 but prob. not much below 130-135. of course steak tartar is delicious. Chicken up to about 170. Now if you know your farmer and trust your food sources this is less of an issue. But with all the pigshit in spinach and geen onions and so forth, Im not trusting the global food industry that much. Think Global, buy local.
Ahh ha ha first testament!!! Go back to your PC Pan-bible church. The old testament says a lot of things that are good advice, but refrigeration has solved many of the food storage issues of the past. Althoug I still love hams, jerkies, carne seca, salt pork, etc. god bless pre-refrigeration meat storage techniques.
If you're gonna take kosher law, you better take it all. No more cheeseburgers for you, agent fatty!

Pork must be cooked at 140 degrees plus to kill the worms inside. Pouring a carbonated beverage onto it may kill them if the acid content is high enough but I do not think a cold Coke or pepsi would do it.

Of course it's a load of croc. Maybe if it's been sitting out in the sun and has bacteria or maggots, but if it's fresh from a butcher or supermarket, well, they have pretty stringent health regulations that must be adhered to.

It is because it is raw meat left out in the open with sugar poured on it. Flies land and lay eggs those producing maggots( worms) If you leave any meat out this will happen

Yes. I saw it in Youtube!
It's gross!!!
If you read in the first testament in the bible, God said that pork was unclean. God didn't say not to eat it because he didn't want us to, God didn't want us to eat it because of pork having worms (parasites) and that it was not fit to eat.
Why do you think the Hebrews don't eat pork? The same reason for the parasites or worms surfacing from the raw meat caused by the coca cola.
Totally gross! I am not eating bacon or pork again!!! Not even hot dogs!!! Eccch!!!
