Atheists do not believe God exists, they do not believe the words of the bible and they will not listen nor believe. They will probably only heap insults upon you. But then again you never know do you and I can't blame a guy for trying.

So essentially what you're saying is "if you don't believe, all you have to do is believe, and you'll believe you'll be fine." I cut out a couple of steps and got straight to believing I'd be fine. Granted I'll be fine then dead, but - for at least as far as I can be sure my awareness will carry me - fine nonetheless. See, atheists have all sorts of beliefs, just not one particular belief.
The thing is, religion is a matter of faith, right? So trying to put it logically is meaningless. Even more so when the "logic" relies on circular reasoning.
I read somewhere an exasperated Christian declaring "It's impossible to argue the Bible with someone who doesn't believe it's 100% fact." On that level then yes, yes it is entirely impossible.

You presume that I have something for which to be forgiven.
If I could show you in a book on wicca that salvation comes only by harmony with nature, would you listen to that? I mean, really believe it? Would it change your worldview and belief system? Probably not.
I appreciate the sincerity and genuine compassion you express in your question. But why should anyone listen to something and change their life because of it, if it is just something written in a book? Like I said, if it were any book other than the Bible, would you?

And if I showed you from Buddhist scriptures that the only way to end the cycle of reincarnation was to lose your desires, would you surrender your desire to convert others to your religion.
Become a buddhist and let others be as they are suited to be..

Do you realise how ignorant and insulting your question actually is?
Should I forgive you for all the evil you religious people have done ever since the dawn of time.
If it was up to me you would all be getting the same stuff as you dish out.
You sir, are going to hell!
By the way, like most believers you have no clue what you are taliking about.

do you honestly think you can convince skeptics by quoting the Bible? What do you think they're skeptical of? waking up early on Sunday?
and the word saving implies being in danger otherwise. Which means it's a threat. Just admit it. Jesus doesn't like liars.

Saved from what exactly?
I am not an atheist. I do not believe in the bible. I do not believe in the lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is not my lord.
I am glad for you that you have found something to believe in that has brought you peace and happiness. I however am not made peaceful or happy by the bible. I don't believe in it and won't. Can that be ok with you?

As Mentioned before ....... If you can show there is a God and he is the biblical god ..... even if he does not forgive, the atheists will believe .....
The main thing is not whether the god has forgiven anybody, the main thing is there is no prove of god existence.

There is no evidence that the Bible is anything other than myth.
If you are like the person named "...." above who thinks our existence is sufficient evidence of a supernatural creator, even then there is no evidence that the Bible is true. There are many other possible creation stories, and there is no evidence to support the Bible's version.

You may be casting your net a bit wide. Some people just don't care. I do, but otherwise you are preaching to the converted.
Some people think highway to hell is cool, and not the song.

God: "Believe or go to Hell."
That's loving all right. Not in the least bit threatening.
