"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved."

Not maybe, not possibly, shall be. No one should threaten others with burning in hell, but all should show others that you are loved and respected. God is love, not war or fear.
I want you all to be in Heaven.

First off, thank you. I really appreciate being treated like a real person.
Second, yes I would listen. Atheists are "just as bad" as God-fearing Christians when they steadfastly refuse to hear any other opinion on the subject of religion. I wouldn't necessarily believe you, but I would listen to what you had to say, and think about it just the same.
I wish God existed, and that he was love. I wish I believed in heaven. But I don't.

If I don't believe in God, why would I believe the stories in the Bible?

They're nice stories, but stories just the same.

As an atheist, if I could show you that you won't go to hell if you don't believe in God, would you listen?

"there is no heaven, and no hell". Not maybe, not possibly, but NO hell. Come on in, the water's fine.

Conversion doesn't work on thinking people.

You need facts that your argument is real, not some crap piped from a pulpit.

But I'm glad that you didn't threaten me with eternal physical violence. I appreciate that.

I'm sorry, but I wouldn't.

While I do appreciate your sentiment, I don't believe that I've done anything wrong. So I don't need to be forgiven.

It's not about forgiveness or condemnation...it's about believing in supernatural activity.
