Ok first off, thanks for seeing this also.

Second, creationists, like many other subcultures i guess you would call them, dont accept things that are proven right in front of them. They blindly follow their natural thoughts, which is ok if you want to be numb to reality for your entire life. I choose to see the truth through reasoning and experiments. I believe that the Bible was purely written as a entertainment piece, not as a religous article. There are too many farfetched stories that could never possibly happen, mathematically of course. Think about this example:

Noah's ark held, say I dont know, 100,000 species of animals. If, on average with food included, each animal took up about a 7 foot by 7 foot square. That being said, the boat would have to be, at a minimum, 7000 ft long and 70,000 ft wide or any other way you figure it out, its a huge boat.

We all have to be sensitive about people's beliefs but honestly, if you are proven wrong on at least two occasions and you are still believing in the extrodinary powers of the higher being, you are probably the most ignorant person I know.

Don't scientists find it odd that the Bible talks about the earth being round, the earth rotating upon it's axis, the stars traveling in different paths, the universe running down, and the chemical composition of man being identical to that of the earth, hundreds of years before scientist figured that stuff out. Don't they find it odd that everything in the Bible agrees with all the modern day scientific discoveries.

PS. Evolution is not a scientific discovery....

Actually if I could persuade any of you to actually inch out of your comfort zone you may be suprised. Try reading the icons of evolution by Jonathan Wells. He was criticized by Eugenie Scott the director for the national centre of science education. She later admitted the information in this book was technically correct. Another good book to read is Evolution a theory in crisis by agnostic Michael Denton. Unfortunately getting people to even look at something that questions their beliefs is like pulling teeth.

Well, I have to admit. Science was right about the A-bomb. Bible didn't claim to know that one. Oh wait, that's right. Bible ...contains the chief truths of God and Salvation. If I remember my catechism right.

Science is right about almost everything? Try teaching a middle school science class today using your parents middle school book and tell me again that science is right about almost everything.

No, because something is less odd when you understand that the problem is.

The problem is that creationists choose to rationalize the facts so it fits their belief system. They accept science in other areas, except their book

Science is a religion just like Christianity. Both insist on being "RIGHT", both look down their collective noses at the rest of us, both will submit to the majority if you keep up the pressure, both require faith that what we understand is enough to form a meaningful opinion.

What was your question?

Actually science has been wrong about almost everything throughout the history of science, one day the world is flat, the next it is round but it is the center of the universe and then next thing you know it's not the center of the universe, science has been wrong quite frequently.
The laws of science and nature are man made laws and God defies those laws.
