I'm a student and lately i've been short on cash. i've already finished my tub of whey protein. so i was wondering if its alright to use soya milk as an alternative postworkout drink. i've read pretty bad stuff about it but i've also heard good things too. so i thought i'd ask around and hope someone has the latest lowdown on this cheap and tasty yet high in protein drink. thanks in advance!

men should stick to soy isolates, regular soy is fine for women. use skim milk or ff milk for post workout, it's better than soy the bioavailability.of the protein is 100% soy is around 55% plus the milk sugar is good for post workout.

I drink protein with soy milk daily.. & i feel that base on just soy milk, its not enough for our daily nutrients needs... Esp u are a athelete, i think its even not enough!! The protein i consume is about S$51 (450g).. is it expensive ah?

Sorry that i do not have any good solution for you.. but take note that whatever protein drink or products you wanna consume, please dont choose something with high % of Purin..

I would say no...It's to thick I would think...Thats why they say water...Because its not think...Soy milk is thick...Thickness in the stomach/body during work out doesn't seem to be a good ideal...But I don't know much med history...Just saying what I would think!!!

It depends on what your stomach can tollerate, some people after being very active can't tollerate that and throw up like crazy, because it spoils quicker in your stomach.
