$350 covers $9000 easily. If you are sure you can afford it, look to structure you loan slightly slightly below $350 for the shortest time possible. You will pay a lower interest rate, and be more flexible with cars in the future since you will be more easily able to sell your car for a profit. I have a friend who keeps taking out five year loans and buys the most expensive car he can based on the monthly payment he can afford on the five year loan. Problem with a five year or even four year is the car is depreciating faster than the balance. If you are like him and get an itch for a different car every three years, and not able to pay the loan off, you end up rolling your loans over and having a $20,000 car with a $30,000 loan. Stupidity that happens more than you'd think.

About $200 or so a month for 60 months. I would take the longer term and pay extra when I can. That way if money is tight, you can make a payment of just $200 vs the $350 a month you pay on a 36 month loan.

well you can easily get a 9000 vehicle for a payment of 350 a month

you shouldn't look at it in terms of payments though it is more important that you don't buy more than you need if your money is limited...Lets

that all depends on the dealer, sorry. actually, now that i think about it with good credit or a co signer with good credit you may be able to get a new car. my dad has a 2006 F150 and pays 307 a month for a $32,000 truck

On average, with good credit you figure $20 for every thousand. Tip- you can usaly get a lower interest rate with a new car. It also varys with how much money you put down.
