i dislike norton. what's better and wont use up nearly as much resources?

I 100% agree with DMarcus. He is referring to Active Virus Shield powered by Kaspersky. Kaspersky has a 99.57% detection rate and is the best on the market. AOL paid Kaspersky money to have their name slapped onto it. You can get it for free at www.activevirusshield.com or the full version of Kaspersky at www.kaspersky.com
Active Virus Shield is basically Kaspersky Antivirus with some features cut down but the important ones are still there. It has amazing scanning abilities, uses little resources, updates hourly, and has real time protection.

Yeah!! I hate Norton also. But you could use AOL's free antivirus program and it is wonderful!! It is the best out there and is FREE!!!!!
