Well, its comin' down to the wire now, my ship date that is, and I was wondering what some of you former or current Military men can give me along the terms of advice. What is it that I need to remember to get me through the tough times?

I'm in the navy I went to bootcamp 6 years ago. Know your sailor creed, general orders, get into shape learn how to fold your clothes navy style learn the enlisted and officers ranks of all branches mainly navy. Get address from your family, friends and girlfriends. Its going to be really boring in bootcamp. I hated bootcamp. But once you get into the fleet whatever they teach you in bootcamp is out the window. The fleet isn't like that at all. I tell you right now I do not know my sailor creed or my general order or how to fold my underwear. ONce you get to the fleet just take a shower and don't be a smart butt and stay away from the bad sailors. If you do that you will be alright. any questions IM me

Back out while you still can, the Navy sucks man believe me. you can't make rank and they treat their enlisted very badly in comparison to th officers.
