Hello young man from indiana. there is only one thing that God commanded us to flee from as fast as we could and that is when it comes to sexual sin. God knows that we are weak when it comes to this sin. He knows we will falter every time we try to head on face this sin. When it comes to dealing with pornography in the internet, what usually helps is putting the computer in a public area. Using your favorite verse in the scripture as a password helps a lot as well. Putting a restriction like parental control soft ware on yourself will help. By using the bible verse password to break through the restriction, it will give you enough time to come to your senses. Putting a post it in front of your computer filled with bible verses will make you think twice to go near any porn site. When it comes to thinking about it, then it is best to remember a memory verse and recite it out loud when an impure thoughts comes to your mind. This helped me a lot. But you need to willingly say the words and not to entertain the thoughts further. I know that what I just told you probably had been said by somebody before, but diligently do these things and you will prevail. You are still on the peek of the hormonal influence, you will be able to get through this in time. It is hard as a young christian to go through this phase. Lots of prayer and asking for forgiveness will help you through this. Remember, when we are weak, Our Lord is Strong. This only shows how much we need him in our life. Stay strong young one, this is what sanctification is all about. Put you feet firmly grounded in the word, and soon you will prevail. If God had declared you victorious, You are victorious indeed. Oh, and if everything else fail....take a long COLD shower. Ha Ha Ha God bless
Strugling with you,
Wasabi

First I believe that confession of sin is great and it means to me that you are not in denial, and are willing to face this head on. I am proud, and want to tell you that alot of 19 year olds probably face the same problems. For me though, I found a wife and got married, which at your age might be a mistake. It's so hard to say what would or wouldn't work, but I want to just encourage you to be involved in Godly activities, with Godly people. God will deliver you because you are sincere, and I and my friends will pray for you.

I am 63 and still have desires.
when Adam sinned, the spirit died and the
flesh took control,
when we are born again, the spirit should be put back in control, however the flesh has been in control of our lives for so long that in fights to remain in control.
so what we have here is spiritual warfare.
the stronger the spirit becomes, the easier it gets.
but it is a one day at a time thing,
when you fail as we all do, for different reasons. we ask for forgiveness and receive it.
the guilt that we feel does not come from God, it comes from the deceiver.
do not loose faith but take it one day at a time, and build you spirit.
God will never leave you or forsake you, so be at peace, and let the love of God do its work in you.

During this time of the bloom of youth, this problem is very common. The biggest thing to remind yourself of is that God understands your everything--he knows your thoughts, your experiences, your intentions and even the desires which are most important to you. Not only that, but he is wanting to have you close to him (otherwise you would not have come as far as you already have). Plus, he is not keeping track of how many times you fail (as long as you are really trying) but how many times you pick yourself up and eagerly try to follow his lead. As much as possible turn away from these thoughts and do not ever give in to them--but know that he loves you and will forgive you as long as you are truly trying. AND if you stick to it, eventually you WILL be victorious with his help.

The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
You are not the only man who goes through this.
It took alot of guts to share your struggle and that shows you are growing Spritually.
The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins.
Ask Jesus to give you the strength only He can give.
God knows we are not perfect.
Remember Paul had a thorn in his flesh and when he begged Jesus to take it from him. Jesus told Paul that He was stronger in Paul's weakness.
Nobody knows what Paul's thorn was.
I believe we all have a thorn in our flesh whether it be lust, gambling, smoking, stealing, etc.
I surrended to Jesus a year ago also, and I have quit cursing,
drinking, gambling, partying, I even quit smoking cigarettes for 2 months .
Well I found out my thorn is smoking, that's my weakness.
I can suggest to you to stop going to those sites on the internet.
Just keep your mind focused on Christ and you will be victorious.

Mat 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
You've acknowledged the weakness in yourself and the strength in God. You cannot control the thoughts that come into your mind, but you can control your mind to get rid of it. Pray without ceasing!!! We are not perfect, He is. He will help you if you're willing.

When we accept Christ as our Savior, we don't automatically or "magically" get delivered from old sinful behaviors. It takes time studying the Bible and praying faithfully to be able to overcome temptation. Also, you'll have to remove yourself from those temptations as much as it is possible. (Like not being alone with a girl-stay in groups of friends.) When lustful thoughts come, cast them down immediately; do not entertain such thoughts. You'll find that with persistence, time and the help of the Holy Spirit living in you, you'll be able to retrain yourself. In the meantime, don't get bound up by guilt and condemnation-that is of the devil. God understands our weaknesses and will always help those sincerely trying to live for him. God bless you young man. :)

it is partly due to false doctrine corupting the minds of many and also due to the spirit of rock and roll that subverts your walk with christ.
paul wrote, i have espoused you unto one husband a chaste virgin but i fear as the serpent beguiled eve so your minds be corrupt to the truth. What he feared happened. the wolves entered in and corrupted the minds of the people making Jesus God the Son instead of having the same understanding the apostles understood and accepted Him as the Christ, The Son of God. Not God the Son.
revelations 9 states that the locusts subvert your walk with christ which is the spirit of rock and roll. check out www.branham.org( i recommend reading his life story-april '59, exposition of the seven church ages, and revelation of the seven seals-march '63) You can read them online or if you have too me=uch reading to do already you can purchase the tapes or cds and listen to them. i also recommend this site www.leevayle.com
