when will the direct x 10 version of fps creator come out?

Given that DirectX 10 will only be supported on MS Vista, it might be a while until enough people are on that platform for gaming. I have read on some other forums where people are suggesting the use of OpenGL rather than DirectX so that support will work across XP and Vista systems. We'll probably see some games that support both DirectX 9 & 10 in the near future but exclusive DirectX 10 games may take a while longer. A software vendor won't want to cut off their customer base.
