It's not just about religion. Gaay sex goes against the basic moral law.

A lot of the people who answered still won't say why gaays keep trying to get Christians to go against their religious beliefs to lie and tell them that gaay isn't a sin.

Can I assume your Dutch? If just one "gaay/s" appeared in the question I could have "regaarded" it "aas" "aa" typo, but two? To the question:
It's funny how hard Christians come down on homosexuals. If one had no personal exposure to the bible, one could justifyably assume that 90 - 95% of it was devoted to gay bashing by listening to how quickly most Christians condemn the homosexual lifestyle. The bible actually only discusses homosexuality - which in fairness it does refer to as an abomanation - in passing. Furthermore, unless you assume the non-gender specific use of "man" in the "man shall not lie with another man" - lesbianism is not out-right condemned.
The bible is filled with hundreds of obscure "sins" that get as much if not more print space than homosexuality, but considerably less fan fair. Hope you've never seen a woman while she was menstrating (the whole woman, not her genitals) because that's a sin pal. Many of these seem goofy and archaic and are passed off as such - but where in the bible does it give you the authority to pick and choose?
Taken as a whole though, certain messages prevail. Love thy neighbor, treat others as you would wish to be treated, judge not les the be judged, the ONLY unforgiveable sin is suicide and we are ALL sinners.
To help you put things in perspective - Homosexuality did not make the big ten, but when's the last time a entire community turned against someone because they were exposed as a theif or a lier. Those two sins did make the cut.
In the end, most of may not be murderers. Aldultry is quite common however and the thought of it even more so. We all have told a lie and took something that was not ours at least once. We've gotten mad at our parents and have envied our affluent friends and their collection of worldly things. All of these acts have been specifically selected as having more importance than the hundreds of relatively obscure sins you can find throughout the rest of the good book. Because these comandments are so often broken though, we find ourselves in good company and are more willing to forgive faults in others that we ourselves are guilty of possessing.
Only about 5% of the population is gay however, and it is all too easy for the other 95% to band together to accuse them of being the source of the downward spiral of society.
If your a Christian, then homosexuality is a sin. But you are just a much of a sinner, only you're guilty of commiting different sins. The bible only selects 10 sins as having greater importance than the rest. As for the others, a sin is a sin. In addition, you have in all likelyhood committed sins that are, according to the bible, of greater significance than being gay. Remember that next time you lie about being sick to your boss so you can take the day off of work...
The bible is very clear that God needs no help in passing judgement on to men. So it might be better if you spent more of your time working on that whole "Golden Rule" and "Love Thy Neighbor" thing.

I don't moralize about the infirmaries of men but Christians either lie to us and/or to themselves .
what makes you think the deviant behavior of gays is immoral? Golf is a waste of time and produces nothing nor hurts anyone much like homosexuality but that does not make it immoral. Don't tell me the bible says so because that is not an acceptable argument.

Why do Christians lie and say that being gay is a sin when it isn't? Targeting a group only makes you a bigot. I'll never understand how a so-called Christian can think that hating someone is Christ-like.

Do you believe that because your specific religion forbids something it should be outlawed?
YOUR RELIGION DOES NOT APPLY TO EVERYONE.
If you want to restrict the freedoms of others based on your beliefs, you oppose religious freedom. You're evil. You're no different that somebody whose barbaric religion forbids, say, interracial marriage and is not satisfied with not practicing it himself, but wants to prevent everybody else - even non-believers - from being allowed to do as they please.
You're the reason christians are hated and despised.
And the basic moral law is "don't hurt others". You're the one doing the hurting, not them.

Since you cannot separate your morality from your religion, your last statement is trite at best. Christianity itself cannot be accepted without dishonesty or intellectual failure (I can and have backed this claim up). Given this truth, any stance a Christian takes from their religious perspective has very little value.

The bible says in the last days people will have "itching ears" and will go to churches that will tell them what they want to hear. And I agree with you homosexuality is just wrong. Gay people know it too.
