How do i erase the history on my computer I dont want any one to see, already used tools and pressed clear private data to go furthur do I have to clean my hard drive?
I have windows XP as my operating system and my browser is Firefox.

right click on start up button n go to properties then customize n click on clear button ..

NO NEED FOR ANY ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE. FIREFOX HAS BUILT IN FEATURES...

It might vary slightly depending on which version of firefox are you using.
In firefox 2.0 click on TOOLS >> OPTIONS >> PRIVACY TAB >> CLICK SETTINGS IN private data section >> select all you want to clear >> OK >> check always clear upon closing firefox.

This will clear all your history when you close firefox. For only clearing once hit clear now instead of settings and thats it.

if you are using firefox then there is an option clear all history and private data..erase everything that it allows you to and then the things will be erased or else just reinstall firefox...

if you want to erase the history on your computer than just use
the software Ccleaner. it is a type of software which not only
removes the history but also removes the invalid registries.
so i would strictly recommand you to use it.

clear private data clears everthing its a button I love.
