What exactly is a clinical dependency on something? What does that phrase mean? I mean I know it's like an addiction to a certain substance - but does it have to be a specific kind of substance? Like medication? Or can it be anything, like caffeine for example? Just wondering, bc I don't get the "clinical" part of the phrase. Thanks.
