We are human, when we do anything to extreme and to where it negatively interferes with our lives we have developed some sort of addiction. You see it with people on the computer and internet and you see it with eating disorders and sex addiction. When what you have been doing begins to interfere with your life and daily routine you need to ask yourself if what you are doing is worth it.

Yes, I have a colleague at work who's a cellphone addict, and she doesn't think much about it. It keeps her from being bored, while I worry about her health. Studies have concluded that too much use of cellphones can do a certain damage to the brain.
