as weird as this sounds use white LIQUID school glue (not the sticks)....this is used by alot of people with mohawks because it is strong enough to hold the hair it dries clear and it is water soluable. we sometimes use this in the salon as an adhesive for small hair gems etc. just put it in the hair and then dry it with a blow dryer... if you have to you can put a layer of hair spray over top just to seal i.....hope this helps good luck!!

All i can say is lots and lots of hair gel and then some hair spray. Make sure the products are extra strong hold so the spikes will stay up. Although I havent ever spiked hair before :|

use cheap stuff since your ruining your hair anyways
the hard wax or glue then use a flat iron while its use applied then there you go spike hard hair

Egg whites...Thats what we used in the 80's for our giant mohawks
