another is, husband and wife sheep leave their hous driving in car. taxi cab behind them with wolf in back seat. wife says " i think he's following us"

My favorite is probably "Midvale School For The Gifted"... with the "Gifted" kid trying to push open the door to class that is clearly marked "Pull"

I will always remember the cartoon featuring a horse lying upside down in the desert on the drip with a cowboy standing with him. Another cowboy appears on the scene and the cowboy with the sick horse says something like Oh am I glad to see you. My horse has just pulled up lame! . I would so love to see that cartoon again. I have searched through all Gary s cartoons on line and cannot find it anywhere - does anyone know where else I could possibly look? I would so love to find it.

I saw one if a Far Side book. It was a snake going through the old style play pen (the type with rungs) The snake has a confused look on its face. His head is coming out one end, the tail is hanging out the other side but it can't get out because of the large bulge in the middle. There is no visible baby in the pen with it. It was my favorite because it was so sick and twisted.

I always loved the one showing a grizzly bear sitting in a cave littered with human bones with a skull on each fist like a hand puppet. The first skull says to the second, "Hey, Fred, let's go see if there're any bears in this cave.?"

My wife, who always bought the yearly calendar, has a favorite Gary Larsen creation, which is also my pick.
Do you remember it? Here the usual Larsenesque
gormless hausfrau is feeding a scruffy looking hound;
and in the bubble where its thoughts appear it's shouting,
"Oh boy--dog food! Again!...

I like the one where God accidentally drops the jar of humans on Earth and they escape (obviously back to when it was the Garden of Eden) and God remarks "OOoops!" Very funny. Love the far side!

A bunch of cowboys are sitting around a campfire at night. One of them says "Hey Hank, why don't you pull that thing out and play us a tune?" In Hank's back pocket is a grand piano.

I was always partial to the one in Hell where people are toiling in the unrelenting heat and one damned soul is whistling while he's working. Seeing this one demon says to the other: "You know, we're just not reaching that guy!"
