We have been friends for two years. I am a junior in high school and he is a senior. He did like me when we first met but I turned him down because he was really clingy. A couple months ago we almost nearly went out but didn't because he didn't want to hurt me because i would have been a "rebound girl" since it was right after him and his gf of almost a year broke up. But he always said maybe in the future something could happen. Him and his gf went back out for a little while but now they are broken up for good and he has been single for like a month and a half. I now feel like I really like him a lot. Should I just be straight forward with him and let him know? I don't know what else to do...or how much more waiting around I can take.

Most definitely. It really sucks when a girl doesn't let a guy know how she feels...We are just left there to wonder what they are thinking. It helps a lot to know. Besides your situation with him was a long time ago and you can start new. I'm sure he still likes you.

It's been a long time since then. You should tell him, but when it's right. Don't take too long though.
